Dangerous Safety Goods Advisor Regulations DGSA Required to keep up to date with Dangerous Goods Transport regulations etc. Since Jan 2000 Now in place. Most companies that move explosives will require a DGSA after 1/1/2000 We are able to act as a DGSA for companies
Manufacture and Storage of Explosives Regulations MSER Will replace the majority of the old 1875 Act 2005 Fundemental change to most aspects of Explosive manufacture and storage

 
Control of Major Accident Hazards COMAH Replaces the similar CIMAH, but Explosives are included for the first time. Also introduces "charging regime" for COMAH sites 1999 Will mean major changes to the duties for larger sites


Full implementation by Feb 2002, however charging started in April 1999. Davas can prepare MAPPs and Safety reports for affected sites.
Control of Explosives Regulations COER Review and update of the 1991 Regulations 2005    
The Firework Act   An enabling Act, regulations for Firework training and Import controls may follow 2003 One of the most far-reaching pieces of legislation for the firework industry in recent years

and regulations made under this Act
Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road Regulations   Will bring all of UK explosive transport legislation into line with ADR 2004    
European Standard for Fireworks   Now revised - will replace the British Standars 2005 Similar structure to BS 7114, but safety distances and types change
